Dislikes

Horrible work culture, they will put you into govt project and mentally harass you everyday. They made me work day and night even in the weekends and holidays. They didn't even provide laptop, I had to work in own laptop. After they'll put you into govt client side they will not bother about if you are alive or not. I used to saw many of my colleagues having mental break down because of their misbehavior.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
