Culture, discrimination, delayed salary and appraisal, profit linked pay only paid to Sales, HOD and Directors, employee does not get who provide all support, unprofessional, lack of trust, very remote location, commutation difficult, poor employment policies, unclean activities all around.

Only Bengalis are required even if they are zero in everything. The dirty level of Micromanagement is beyond anyone can think of. Textiles is worst among all. No R&d. Even the owner knows everything but he is not interested in the company anymore as it is a subsidiary of Wacker Germany. The textile head is the most insecure person and highly corrupt person. He won’t let you do anything and will say bad things to the top management about you. He won’t let you go the plant even. He is the most cunning person. Joining in textile will be like ending your career. Don’t get in the trap. It is not for a non Bengali person.

Salary in time... If you want to take retirement,if don't disturb anybody or want to change anything.. it is a good place for them.

Work life balance . But depends in which department you are belonging...

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

The company is open to innovation and ready to adopts latest technology. The versitle product are manufacturing. I love the fact that i am a part of a team while installation of new plant and machinery to identify the risk by analysing Systematic Safety analysis at design stage. The company is based on Germany. The rules and requlation related to EHS is strick rather than our indian rules and requlation. I get to travell abroad especially to the Germany and China. Every three year we have an Global EHS conference to shear innovation , excellent practise related to EHSSPS and Fire among our employee. Employee from other wacker site like Japan , Koria, China, USA, Brazil, like 29 th countries are participate in this conference.This great opportunity to shear our knowledge among cross county EHSSPS and Fire Expert.

Dislikes

Compensation and slary growth are average.The work presure is very high as i am only EHS manager and other 2 person from fire department are working under me. I am doing our best and enjoying high work pressure. I am hopping someday, i will get recognized for all this effort. We are looking EHSS and Fire at two manufacturing unit, one projects site and three branch offices.Based on working presure compensation is not maps with it.
