When your badluck knocks your door, you start working in Royal Vopak. It's a company full of hypocrites. Not just local, but up to the global top management, even the CEO. One side they preach and vow to follow safety and if someone take it for serious, his career is systematically killed. The company is full of partiality,politics and discrimination. Still there is agrezo ka raaj in the company. Indians are kept as their toilet cleaners. It's better to beg than work for this company. There is no job security, no honor for your service no matter how long you are working. The only thing imp is how good you are in massaging your boss's b**ls. Company's India managemt is corrupt and collects bribes from company contractors. Summery terminations are regular. Even the females employees are manhandled and thrown out of the office. Employees are not given any salary increment from last 11 years. All forms of exploitation are present. Politics, nepotism, groupism etc. Is available in bulk quantities. There is no ownership of responsibility from management. If things go right top management will come running to claim the credits, if things go wrong the employee is punished. Even there is no statutory responsibility is taken by management everything falls personally on the employee. Stress Leven is so high that many department managers have developed heart deasease, BP and other eilments. Ecently a 35 y/o , fit, healthy loading master with no bad habits, got heart attack and died on duty. Company even didn't give him proper medical care. It's a corporate NAZI gas chamber where employees are killed for management entertainment.

Dislikes

It's a poisonous place to work. Everything is toxic. The management,the work culture. It's better to work is Syria, Somalia or Afghanistan but not at Royal Vopak. The place is dirtier than an oozing gutter hole. Take a gun and shoot your self that will be an easy death.

Vopak is a Dutch owned company and controlled from the Netherlands. For me it's the people you work with that make your experience in a company and the people there are pleasant and a pleasure to work with my experience at Vopak was good although 9nly a contractor a one year old contract turned out to be 3.5 years so great full for that. Training is available but limited to contractors. Decent work life balance depending on your grade

Vopak renumeration can be somewhat unfair where you paid for one job but asked to perform a job of a higher grade

Vopak India is one of the best company in Kandla.and it is one type of division company of MNC.i love to myself because I have a chance to working in this company.vopak provides many facilities to the employee.i had spent year with my colleagues who is come out from various culture background.i work very happily with my colleagues.
