No Bonus for 2019, 2020, 2021 No incriment for 2020, 2021 Politics at every level. Micro management. Managers will not let you take sick leave. You need their permission to fall sick even during Pandemic No work-life balance because of rotational shifts that does not rotate for 1.5 years. If you are in NA shift, you will be there for 1.5 years No career growth or promotion or switch role. They will conduct 5 rounds of interview same as an outsider. It is much easier to get a job out of VMware than inside. There is no concept of promition to another role or Supervisor or Manager. Its via an interview process and they prefer an outsider to an insider

Pros: good salary/ good management/ supporting senior engineers/ good benefits/ reputed job Cons: too much work pressure at times with no work-life balance You have to maintain your csats and tasts to save your job and not to come in limelight

Dislikes

Too much pressure Heavy inflow of cases Non ethical dsats cannot be mitigated by management and thus we have to under burden to get more surveys and have our matrices/ goals match which leads to bo work-life balance

Use this place only for interview experience even if they pay lot don't join , nothing to say about this place don't go for brand name its just utter shit inside

its not a product company , its worst than services company too much of politics ,every day discussion will be only about RSU , stocks , immature idiots are in Manager position , My advice after real experience , quality of work is worst than service company you will forget all your skills .For god sake don't join seeing CTC or RSU as you don't know when you will be your last day in company

VMware used to be a great company work but since it's acquisition the culture has been different. Great tech to work. Good RSU and stock options.

...fired every quarter. It could be based on your performance or teams performance. Bonus calculation is also very brutal.

It was acquired by Broadcom. VMware is no more. All the good things are gone. Its a horrible company.
