They can throw you out if you're a contractor they only consider people from tech support for FTEs as they are dealing with clients calls. If you joined in any other department the there would be a risk, the reason behind is this they are keeping some budget only for contractor a for certain period of time under which you will have to complete all the tasks to make them happy and train their FTEs once budget over then apology email comes and you are done. This is the weird truth.

Use this place only for interview experience even if they pay lot don't join , nothing to say about this place don't go for brand name its just utter shit inside

its not a product company , its worst than services company too much of politics ,every day discussion will be only about RSU , stocks , immature idiots are in Manager position , My advice after real experience , quality of work is worst than service company you will forget all your skills .For god sake don't join seeing CTC or RSU as you don't know when you will be your last day in company

VMware used to be a great company work but since it's acquisition the culture has been different. Great tech to work. Good RSU and stock options.

...fired every quarter. It could be based on your performance or teams performance. Bonus calculation is also very brutal.

It was acquired by Broadcom. VMware is no more. All the good things are gone. Its a horrible company.

VMware is an employee first company till now. Not sure what will happen after Broadcom takeover. One of the best places to work for. Great work life balance

Pay scale could be lower for long if not a high package during joining
