Good culture of department, not plant. Teammates are supportive. There is huge guest house and playground arcade for chilling.department policies are good. Appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike after every 3years

There is a lot ryof politics and the management doesn't address our issues.salary is decent but carreer growth is slow

Good company to start your career. Fully Integrated Steel plant.Good technology used in all of it's units.Very approachable upper management.Got to learn steel making process and technical work in my field.Started here as GET.Helpful Seniors and colleagues in General! Good Work Culture.Quality Guest house and colony accommodation very near to Plant within plant premises so negligible travel time!HR hires good manpower.Diversity in role of manpower , you can look after many jobs at the same time thus broadening your knowledge.

Dislikes

Compensation and benefits not given as per experience and performance. Less salary as compared to other good steel companies.Salary gets delayed all the time by a month almost.Raw material shortage is a common issue as they don't have Captive mines.Rolling Mill and SMS are in complete shutdown as of now where the lateral entry candidates are losing jobs who joined just 2 Years back.Average middle management with average and not up to Mark skills.Attrition rate is high!HR needs to take much more initiative in training for better skill upgradation.

Nothing much but onpy salary structure is a bit low as compared to other core industries

Salary offered is less as per experience & knowledge.HR Department is a failure in knowing ,rewarding & retaining good employees as the middle management gives dishonest reviews during appraisal.The steel making units are struggling to run continuously.

...rk culture, No knowledgeable and skilled hods, no one knows what needs be done * 20% Variable pay based on production, they give unrealistic target and sometimes based on plant full rated capacity,if the target is not achieved the cut away 20% from your in hand salary. Even if they are unable to provide the raw materials for production, the will cut away 20% *Worst company policies *Worst employees treatment *No fixed increment and promotion parameters and time I would recommend that you should never even think of working in visa steel, or visa special steel, or visa minmetal, or visa resources or anything
