Nothing to like about, this is a company which is in its reverse gear in India after real time payment. Mumbai office is worst, very toxic culture, people are fake and jealous of each other. Never join this company at junior and middle management levels

...t lower folks, 12-18 months is the time u be here and they dont care if u leave. People joining from Banks, dont fall for the salary, work profile is going to be worst and nowhere close to what u have done in Banks. Overall culture is very toxic, janta loves if u fail, as they want to see everyone fail so that mediocrity prevails. Growth is a big issue, even if u manage to perform, managers will have their favourites and performers are sidelined, naturally performers will be disappointed and leave. Please dont join if you have multiple offers, visa should be the last to consider, no decisioning power at lower and middle levels.

For interns as of 2019: - Top company, one of the best brands in the world! - Decent pay, accommodation and benefits - Good peer group (Top IITs, NITs, and others) - Excellent work-life balance - Company culture is great - Learning opportunities abundant - Production level projects for interns

...e of the candidate to determine a good fit. This is an issue for some people. Compensation for NCGs: Although the base pay is pretty decent, the CTC lacks an important component that normally forms a differentiator for the best students at universities (especially in India) - Stock benefits, and specifically - Restricted Stock Units. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, Salesforce, and many other companies compensate their employees with RSUs. To attract the best talent in India, Visa needs to consider giving more stock options to freshers!

All maintenance projects. All good work is at US or Europe offices. No work life balance after Microsoft guy came in. Micro-management and tracking at every level. No job security. Majority of good folks have left. Now crowd comprises from either ones coming from service-based companies or very small startups. Too many infra issues developers have to solve. 10% development effort, 90% infra resolution. Everyone is trying to save him/her so the environment has gone bad. Many folks are working on weekends as story points per sprint are 15+. Last over obsession for GenAI.

...d Benefits: Visa's compensation and benefits package is definitely a highlight. The salary is competitive, and the health insurance, retirement plans, and time off are generous. This is a major plus, especially compared to some of my previous employers. * Cutting-Edge Technology: Visa is invested in staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the latest tools and platforms, which has been great for my professional development. * Global Scale: The sheer scale of Visa's operations is impressive. Working on projects that impact millions of people around the world is definitely something unique to this company.

Dislikes

* Steep Learning Curve: Coming from a different company culture, I found the initial onboarding and learning curve at Visa to be quite steep. There's a lot of internal jargon and processes to get your head around. * Siloed Teams: Despite the interconnected nature of the work, I've noticed a tendency for teams to operate in silos. This can sometimes hinder collaboration and create communication challenges. * Fast-Paced Environment: While the dynamic environment can be exciting, it can also be quite demanding. There's a constant pressure to deliver results quickly, which can sometimes lead to long hours.

No job security. You can be fired any day on spot. Micro management from top to down Bad quality work. All projects in Bangalore are maintenance projects. Stay away from this company. They attract employees with high packages and then destroy their career.
