Salary Discussions, Hike & Promotions

My current CTC is ₹7,80,660, which includes a ₹1,32,000 night shift allowance, and my monthly take-home pay is ₹72,133. I have received a new job offer with a CTC of ₹10,67,231, a monthly take-home pay of ₹83,333, and 192 restricted stock units (each valued at $60, vesting 25% after one year and quarterly thereafter). This new position is closer to my home and does not involve night shifts. The offer letter is attached. I have also requested a ₹95,000 monthly salary increase and am awaiting their response. Could someone advise me on whether I should accept the new offer or remain in my current role?

Likes

Banks in general and VIJAYA in particular are not the best place to engage with. Poor work culture,worse work life equilibrium, poor pay package, high risk and almost the worst family life.

Promotions - Good

Dislikes

Discriminatory transfer policies. Missing quality of life. Inadequate compensation for responsibility and accountability. Frequent transfers. No scope and time for implementing any innovative ideas.

In the beginning salary is very less. No promotions.In 28 years 13 transfers to different places.Large amount of earning is spent on transfers. In the beginning we suffered lot. But afterwards we slowly adjusted to the circumstances. We can write much more. Not here.

Working with knowledgeable superiors with great experience and support is what makes one very proud to be a Vijayite. Now it is Bank of Baroda and one would equally be proud to be a Barodian. I served the Bank for 30 years and nine months and still would like to serve if there is any oppurtunity on contract basis.

it is equal to a temple of worship. Only hindrance is recent generation lot, 70% of them do not actually work. They are only interested in promotions, lacking working knowlege.
