The things that I like about VFS is that you get to learn a lot of different things which includes handling customers and your your own team (if you are a senior officer or DM), you get to learn about the country that you work for and if this is your first job you will learn how to work as a team. Most of the staff who are working there are teenager so it's a very friendly atmosphere, we work and have fun at the same time.

Dislikes

The salary is less than decent.There is no training for new joinees before they start to work.The working hours bad during park season. The overtime is laughable so is the incentives.The promotion and the recognition awards are subject to biasness.

Likes

Type of work is good..you get respect from society. Timely salary payment and bonus.. Company policy is good.Incentive is there.

Dislikes

Salary is the lowest in this industry. Politics everywhere Very less increments Overtime pay is a scam despite working 13-14hr a day No recognition or appreciation for good work No work life balance possible here Operation job but have to do everything like finances,Packing,load dropping at airport.

Likes

Salary on time. Good medical insurance and term life insurance they offer to their employees. Work-life balance is there . No body is going to disturb you after your working hours. Different skill development courses they offer for their employees. Lots of things you are going to learn in VFS.

Dislikes

No promotion, even you work for more than 05 years. In North India few leaders are there in higher position likes DGMs they do micro management on every step. It totally depends in which leadership you are working. If you are in North India. You are gone buddy.

poor management, lack of work-life balance, low pay, inconsistent work schedules, limited growth opportunities, customer abuse with inadequate staff support, and a feeling of not being valued by the company;

Only salary and insentive are good that's it

Dislikes

They are hiring in bulk in November and December on the contract basis, because their count of every country is so much in start in January to Mid September, After That they are ending your contract and so much people loose their job
