There is nothing to like about this company except starting salary(which will seem very less in few years when no promotion will be given to you).

There is a list of thing to hate about this company. First of all, the biggest mistake of my life is to join vedanta aluminium. Its been more than a year for me working here but i have not learned anything technical here because no proper training is being given here to new joinees. They will just start to give you work without teaching you anything. They will make you do the work of a supervisor here where no engineering will be used. If you really are an engineer, this place is not for you. Work culture is worst here. The culture here is to get the thing done from businees partners and they will be give you so much work load that you will get no time for learning any technical thing. You will be kept very busy in managing and supervision. From growth perspective, this place is very bad. You will be 8 to 12% increment every year( if you are getting average rating, then you wont get any increment), and it will take atleast 5 year to get a promotion which my go upto 14 years. I have seen some of my seniors who havent got any promotion since 14-15 years. Considering all the things in mind, i would like to tell you that this is not at all a good place to work. If you truly believe in yourself that you can do something good in your life, do not join this company. It will make your life miserable.

Initial compensation is better compared to Industry avaerage

Dislikes

Work-life balance is terrible. Emphasis on female empowerment at the expense of male counterparts. Top management is clueless about the happenings at the ground level. Promotions are not based on merit. You need to do some things off duty to impress your reporting manager (offering them booze etc)

1.) As per designation employees are not treated poorly. 2.) Men's career growth is dumped or will not improve over a period of time as compared to female employees 3.) work-life balance is zero 4.) perks & bonus will not be given equally to every employee in the company. 5.) Skill development zero

1. Good learning opportunities 2. Responsibilities given at early stages 3. canteen facility and transport facililty

Dislikes

Nothing as such but salary hike pattern need to be relooked for employee welfare

Though company is constantly exploiting employees n deducting bonus amount for no reason still salary got credited in time.

Dislikes

Nightmare for a young professional. Uneducated HRs and management has ruined the work culture. Literally exploiting employees. No increment no bonus nothing. Working here is wastage of time n deterioration of health. Company is good for boot lickers only. This is the real scene of this company(don't consider this as if I am expressing anger for this company . I just don't want anyone to suffer.)
