- Great Quality of Work (Credit perspective - Credit/Investment Memos/notes, Bond Comps, Covenant Analysis, Distressed debt tracking, Distressed debt company models [excluding Projections or valuations]. More important concepts learning like: Cap structure, Investment thesis writing skills, Industry Analysis and more. IB side - Research Oriented on Bloomberg or web. More specific on Public company comps, Precent transaction's, Weekly Global Slides, Company profiles (Basic slides) - Strong Database Competency (Mainly Bloomberg which is not accessible in many organisations due to its cost) - Strong Networks: Peers become like a family here. Coffee breaks and a sense of responsibility to help each other in times of need. - Outings/Time off: The Party places has been amazing for all Townhall. Also, you can expect more 2-3 dinner/lunch outings during Diwali or such occasions. - Great Office space: The new office has amazing office Mountain View with ample of sitting space. According to me, it is basically recommended for entry level with a mindset to learn /near 2 years experience candidates in similar role to upgrade skills based on both Credit and Investment Banking.

- Salary Perks: Can add more perks (Recommendations: Dinner coupons, Additional bonus for cracking new clients by deliverable team, Additional incentives who supports on multiple accounts, Overtime benefits) Just a motivation to go extra mile. - Within Organisation Role Upgrade (e.g. Analyst to Senior Analyst) can be more quick based on employees skills. I feel the waiting is long for role upgrade compared to other organisations in similar space. - Need more higher level team for training's. Although you can reach out to CEO, he has great knowledge and helpful even in terms of complex deliverable. - Traveling: Difficult to travel for Western side employees (Staying from Kandivali to Vasai). From Kandivali - Takes approx. 1 hour 20 min one way traveling via public services (Fastest route, metros and railways). - IB side: Can have more deliverables on decks.

...d festivals to meet those deadlines. They lack in providing proper training too. There is no overtime facility nor do they give any compensation for making you work on the weekends. Most importantly specifically for female employees i want you to know that the HOD of research has no clue how to talk to his team members and is extremely arrogant and rude and disrespectful. He pressurised me literally within a week of joining telling me to clock in extra hours asking me to take my laptop home after office and work from there. Him and I were in a conference room for some discussion with the HR (she had joined us via a teams call which was connected on my phone) where he was sitting right next to me and he started yelling at me and started banging on the desk. When i said i will officially complaint about this he said yeah go ahead idc and he then started snatching my phone. The HR also took his side and said i could not hear him yell on the call and idk if he was banging on the desk or snatching your phone, obviously she would biased to the senior management. Further when i told her i felt very anxious in that situation with his behaviour she very casually said i had no reason to feel so casual. I had also requested her to check the cctv cameras however its very unlikely that she will because she has to defend her senior management who eventually give a review for her increment.

The company imbibes the culture of ownership and provides immense opportunities to learn and grow. Internal proportions, job rotations and chance to work on multiple pilot projects add to the diversity and learning. The research work is quite niche, high end and client facing front end. The open door policy and ease of access to top management are the key positives. The company policies are employee centric and the periodic organization wide events act as great team bonding platform.

The company has a very good work culture that promotes open discussion. There is minimal politics and good work-life balance. People are expected to take ownership of their tasks and be responsible. It is led by a visionary and knowledgeable CEO, who is also open to hearing views and different point of view.

Since the company is small, it lacks certain attributes such as benefits that bigger companies may be able to provide. However, the company is doing a good job for its size and scale of operations.

Anyone applying plz read this: the company might be good but what i experienced was terrifically strange and disheartening and it should not happen with anyone. So I can say that I was fired before joining only! After 2 interviews, I was offered a position in this company. After few days they arranged an interaction call with a client and few more day later they suddenly rescinded the offer saying that the client had some issue. I really don't know what was real reason! I did not feel bad that i lost an offer however, I felt disheartened that I lost my 2 weeks time which could be utilized to seek other opportunities, I wasted my valuable time. I also declined one of the previous offers due to this offer. So all in all I lost everything during this chaos! 1st thing, if they knew this position was dependent on client, why the interaction was not a part of recruitment process itself! 2nd thing, the offer said that if I accept it now and decline it later before joining, there would be some kind of penalty as I would be wasting company's time and money and I am liable for that loss. So, this was not applicable to them?? Anyhow, I am still seeking opportunities and I want everyone applying here to know this as our time is precious while searching for jobs. Plz verify things properly and then proceed guys!
