Talking about Mechanical,- Uncertain layoff , team switching, no growth & politics in some team due to incompetent managers to secure their job. One such team I have worked and unemployed for months.

When you talk about valeo,the first thing comes to mind is the Employee compensation and benefits. They are above average among the market and good place for anyone to start career with. You will have good job security and good learnings for a brief amount of time. Company timings are flexible , so you wont be having any problem working here. Smooth secured career if you like to stay for even 10 years.

Dislikes

Over a period of time the job you will work become monotonous and you will not be involved with any core Engineering activites. You will be designing the same things by practice and Cad skills and nothing to learn in terms of practical. Yes we do have benchmark products to see with eyes but when you design and you face problems you will learn. Here you will not get opportunity.

Likes

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Mine is a US based client and they have some offices in Toronto, hence I got a B1 visa quickly. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration. I also like the employee re-hire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.

One hr always keeps an eye on what are you wearing 🤣 • The recruiter lied about salary during hiring, it was august and we (me plus a few more new hirees) were informed that there will be 20- 30% hike by jan. (10% was said to be default). And we got baba ji ka thullu. • Company forcefully deducts privileged leaves on the days they decide. You cant even choose. • 9.15 hours are mandatory work duration, editing JSON and doing tech support. 5. Be prepared to be sidelined by the manager in Cairo, who thinks indian employees don't know anything.

Especially culture in ths tcc is to improve very much. Opportunities should be equal to all. Fevorism for their community people makes others and competent resource to feel not wel. Work culture was very good earlier, and it got transformation post COVID..
