as an intrern, i learned basic emergency and life saving procedure during my internship apart from that i got basic OPD exposure to primary diseases and their treatment,i graduated mbbs from here, and i am quite satisfied, good working condition, good job security.

Dislikes

as an intern its quite easy to work but for a postgraduate student its very hectic.

Institute rule are not fixed. Institute does not have self proper guideline. They depend on some other institute like SGPGI OR AIIMS. So many employees are suffering in clerk agenda.

On face it is Autonomous gov but works like private one, Their motto is "use and throw". They appoints faculty just a day before MCI Inspection at Assistant Professor and later at time of salary pays salary of Lecturer(which is less then half of A.P.`s), they says that norms as per state/ SGPGI, but IN ACTUAL salary, grade pay, allowances and leaves are much less then them. For eg.- lecturer in U.P. state government medical colleges have grade pay 6000/-, 14 CL, 27 Gazette holiday, EL with no DA deduction, accommodation provided or HRA, timely Arrears, bonus 7th pay commission announced While at UPUMS lecturer with same pay scale have grade pay of 5400/-, 8CL, 14 GH(which too oftenly canceled by Institute) EL with DA and other allowances deduced, frequently winter/ summer vacation cancelled, no provision of HRA at any condition, on top of that forced fixed minimal rental(5000/ pm. for furnish accommodation & fixed minimal electrical charges are deduced), no provision for married J.Rs

The hell must be much better, it is prison, with no escape, don`t go by terms and condition of advertisement letter/ appointment letter they denies as first salary come,least salary & leaves in India. beware, talk to as much faculty their before joining, working condition, life, salary(at lecturer), leaves (EL with allowances deduced, strict bio metric wit absent if late by 1 min., & much more harassment... beware..!! . only spineless people with no self respect and no opportunity of work any whee can work here. It is depressing to suicidal level to work here
