Nothing at the moment.
Dislikes
1. No appraisals.
2. No qualified employees.
3. No feedback discussions, managers have no clue about promotions, appraisals, variable pay, increments, etc.
4. HRs don't even bother connecting with the employees. No discussions about the motivation, what the employees need. For 6 months they don't even know who are the employees they are tagged to.
5. No company formal structure. Feedbacks shared with the management goes into bin. They do what they feel like doing.
6. No food arrangements, no proper offices, no meeting rooms, no snacks, no coffee/tea, no gym, no breakout games etc.
7. The moment you enter the office, you feel like you are in a graveyard, where there is total silence. Lack of meeting rooms, forces people to take calls from their bay disturbing everyone around them.
8. Everything blocked on your laptops. At times even client websites are blocked.
9. Laptops from 2001 eras are given. Who will feel like working.
10. They get refurbished laptops and give it to the employees, where the employees keep struggling.
11. No proper office building or parking at the office spaces.
...olitics. If you wish them they will not even respond back and puts serious face. Your variable pay will be deducted only in Hyderbad and Bangalore location after deducting 30% TDS & 30% event manement expenses. They will not give hike to existing employees but recruits from outside market by paying 50% extra to low experiennce. The worst thing is coffee machine will not work many a times and no proper facilities to employees. Bottom tag line No Humanity, No Integrity and Full humiliation to hard working employees.

Minimalist salary hike
Short term projects which doesn't allow to settle down and creates unnecessary panic
They do not have any projects of their own and basically just do outsourcing
If you are lucky you might land up with good client and work longer
They do not have good bench strength.
You are always in trouble sitting out of the project (on bench) even for a month. You might be asked to look for the opportunity outside any day.
Good culture with excellent opportunities to learn and grow. Work-life balance is great.
Dislikes
Salary is not competitive compared to other firms.
Appraisals are not at all based on performance.
Variable pay depends on company's overall gain and not based on individual performance.
There are very minimal benefits and only limited to those who favors the incompetent managers who are there in the system for long.. For others , Its a toxic work environment. If you are a good performer in the current organization, you may feel excluded once you join UST due to its internal politics.
...ortunately, here it's just for the namesake and doesn't come to picture at all. As I understand , they take freshers for a minimum salary to manage the HR function for a department.
4. Stagnant pay and very limited Growth -
Employees face no salary hikes or any growth. This feels like an exclusion for the performing individuals as employees.
5. Favoritism in Career Advancement -
Key assignments are often influenced by politics and when the credit comes in, this will be handed over to these incapable managers.
UST should concentrate on appreciating employees based on performance not based on biases. UST should make HR , an employee centric with a clear and fair grievance resolution mechanisms.
I am not sure by writing this review will change the organization culture. But , the only intention being to alert the prospective individuals while selecting UST as the next employer. It's a Big NO ! , unless are decided to jump into an organization with toxic culture and no governance.
