...ritating emails, HR follow-ups for the same and so a lot of time is saved there. But for the annual variable pay, you do need to conjecture something up.

Lack of both product culture & engineering culture. Strategies and focus change week on week, month on month. Product has a dotted line reporting to engg which over time seems to be converting to a full line. With no clear direction, product rarely ships any impactful features and there is a constant struggle to catch-up with competition. It seems the primary aim/strategy is to get new users via marketing with minimum efforts into retention. There is no goal-setting process at quarter or annual level.

No work life balance. Too many levels of people managers and few implementors. In the name of process they play favorites. Too many noise makers instead of helping or assisting to solve a problem they simple run skeleton dedicated crew thin and hang them dry. Technology head is petty and very biased and demoralizing. No sense of Saturday or sunday anytime call happens. People with connections with heads only make noise but when real work is question blame is put on already burdened developers.

Company has no vision. Its literally catching up with every other broker on the street. One day you copy Zerodha, on the another day you copy Groww. Its just sad to see the wasted potential of this company. I blame the leadership who promoted people from non-product backgrounds to product leadership and they are ruining the company. Every team works in silos which exasperates the problem
