Dislikes

Well there is a list of dislikes and complaints which I don't wanna disclose here but in simple terms. The higher management of the organisation is compromised either ethically/morally or financially. I will break it down in few important points. 1- I don't know how but lead clashes are rampant and your each and every follow up and callback is contacted by channel partners and other counselors that are working in Univo itself with unrealistic promises to the customers, the management knows everything and still chose to ignore it, if confronted they will acknowledge it and downplay it but no concrete action. Relevant emails with escalations related to this same issue won't even get a single reply. In short, data leakage is a BIG problem and this alone brings a family of problems. Higher management simply mentions that they can't do anything about it, they only care is sales. They won't bother who is stealing the data and selling it. There are CMM policies but of no use. 2- AGMs here are reported by TLs, ATLs directly if there is Cluster manager or deputy manager, they also report to the AGMs only but the AGMs will directly come to the counselors and pressurise them and ask them to prematurely connect with follow ups and spoil it. The targets are monthly on paper but in reality it's daily Target if you are part of any campaign. They will become experts of all short. I get it, they were sales person once but sales techniques change and evolve but these egoistic AGMs are narcissists. Miss Singh is one such AGM there. TBH, my previous AGM who is no more in this world was a saint and maybe that's why culture was way better (he passed away because of heart attack in nov) 3- Experimenting all the times, this whole organisation is working on a pilot mode, usually you run a pilot batch and if it's successful you implement it. There are 2 facts here to notice, 1st, any manager given the pilot project don't want to fail because they understand the purpose of the pilot projects at all, they want to make it successful and they use all sort of hacks to show it as a success. All of you can understand what will follow the next. 4- No long term strategy, always experimental environment leads work flow disruptions. I don't know whats is the relevance of strategy team in the organisation of they can't put a concrete baseline strategy in place. Initially this was not the case but it's a monthly affair now. I think Mr. C8 is being deceived by a bunch of individuals in the higher management. 5- Lead quality is wort, clickbait leads, leads from rural areas, refurbished leads for the biggest chunk of sales individuals. On top of this, you might get summoned by VP Mr Sharma and he may lecture you on the cost of 1 lead being as expensive as INR 1.4k. 6- Dynamic HR policies, incentive policies, leave policies. 7 - Except few individuals like Mr A Gupta ( exceptional professional) whole training team is a joke. 8- Quality team's purpose is to divert the sales team into standard customer service BPO team with their feedbacks. 9- Student support is rude and students will avoid calling them and the students end up calling counselors for support. 10- The organisation don't trust it's counselors and wants them to be bots without any liberty and creativity in the work, dial 200+, achieve 2.5 hours TT and if you get time, you may deliver the sales numbers, if not able to deliver the sales numbers. You are out. 11- I have never had issues with extended shift timings as I used to do it by myself but if you are someone who don't want extended shifts, you should avoid because you might be working till 8 PM instead of 6 PM. PS - I personally never got a single performance related warning verbal or via email. Always delivered the expectations, December was defining and intentionally opted to not perform and got PIP, I am done with this company. Except TLs and ATLs, the entire higher sales hierarchy is a big mess.

Salary on time Good colleagues to work with

Even after working hard day and night and as per their business requirements, UNIVO education has no sympathy for you. They are just becoming another byjus who will hire you, make your life difficult and then fire you. They have normalized the culture of working 9 to 7 now which was 9 to 6 earlier. They want you to report sharp at 9 AM in the office but there is no time to leave. You cannot leave the office without the permission of your TL and Cluster Manager. You data can be pulled out anytime and given to AGM's favorite TL and counsellors. You do hard work on your data but if you are on leave on any day, the TL, AGM and cluster manager will pull your data to assign to their favorite people on floor and then they will blame you for not getting sales. Their work policy can change anytime and they will bluntly say on your face to resign if you are not aligned. Now they are hiring TL's only from Byjus so that they can insult their counselors on the name of work. Incentives are not upto the mark. It's quite of a mental trauma, everyday you need to report to office to get salary of that day, if you are not working on your fresh leads after your shift ends, your leads can be pulled out. Many people have left due to biasedness showed by higher management. Who is near and dear to the AGM, TL or Cluster Manager only those teams will get good leads. Join if you have no other option in market otherwise it's a big no

AGM (umakant) and VP(Ravi Sharma) these two unprofessional dignitaries does not have the basis of edtech industry because they are not from the edtech industry and hence digging the hole for a much reputed Amity University. They do not stand by their words. And the team managers are not at all respected here. They treat a manager worst than the BDA's and the fact is only managers are working day and night for this organization. Team manager does not hold any power of taking independent decisions. I haven't seen any ed-tech like this. If you want to join then wait till organisation kick out these two highly talented AGM and VP.
