Union Bank is one of the top PSU Bank of country.I am part of top management team .Bank has given me opportunity to work in different capacities .where I was able to take my own decisions. I was given the opportunity to handle big team of around 500+ staff consisting of 65+ branches and in big geographical area.It is nice experience and challenge to motivate all of them and to take work for achevement of bank's goal. Our Bank is having very good training system .As per requirement every one is getting training .Bank is having own technology team ,they are continously developing new digital products so that we should be able to fulfill our mission to become the first Bank in the mind of customers for banking services.Bank is hiring specialised persons also.so that we should we able to provide world class services to our customers.

Salary and compensation is not good but learning and experience is good.work pressure is very high not physical but mentally .we are having more than 60 parameters ,where we have to achieve targets ,which will be measured for appraisals .there is always pressure in Banking specially in PSU Banking. And there is always risk ,if any big account becomes NPA. There will be explanation / Action even if Account becomes NPA after 4 -5 years. When we compare with pressure and risk ,compensation is nothing.

The Pay is Okay but not at par with other Government jobs. Bank Management and Bank Unions control the Banks Operations. Chaploosis are always favoured by Management and Unions. So becoming a Chaploos is the main skill needed to survive here.

Bank Management pressurizes staff to achieve unrealistic targets. Officers are humiliated in regular Video Conferences. Many Officers have committed suicides in the last FY. Officers can be transferred anywhere in India and Management doesn't care about staffs families.
