Dislikes

No proper training Unsystematic team work No respect for skills, performance-they will get jealous of you. Your team members will bully you, if you are new, will give heavy work to you. Internal politics-especially in Ultra international departments- If you learn everything quickly manager will get jealous, will torture you by highlighting small small mistakes Even if you did it correctly, If you want to survive there for longer you have to be puppet of your seniors.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
