The company has good work life balance but it largely depends on the team and manager. There is good learning if working in platform domain else it can be monotonous. Peers are helpful and friendly. Kronos also has rehire policy.

Job instability, it's maddening. All the managers always speak negatively that the next list is ready now. The entire senior management has changed 4 times in last 1 year as everyone is quitting. The working products are being destroyed actively while the new products are very buggy and has no formal architecture in place. As a product company, it has no disaster management system in place. The DR team left and there is no SOP and no one knows the infra since they fired everyone who knew it. Directors expect one to work 16 hours a day and even if you are an L2, solve issues from sales to CTO level and IT to Finance level. HR are non existent here, they do not care about employees and are busy in making themselves look busy. Managers make us work night shifts and don't pay the allowances for oncall or any overtime that they make us work on. Last year appraisal has been 2.4% even with a 3 rating. Forcing people in leave. The senior leadership in US expect India team to be a bunch of donkeys. The US team has holiday and works only 5 hours in their 8 hours shifts bcuz they got work-life balance. The India team although shrinked (work of 10 people are expected to be done by 2 people) cannot take leaves and even if 10 mins late due to company cab got delayed the manager/senior manager makes us mark half day leave on the portal. Honestly, do not join under gourav or kacker's team. There will be verbal abuses coming from the all sides inside office from principal engineers in front of senior manager infront of female emplyee and no body will do anything even with HR complaint to HRBP I got told by the manager "suck it up and get out of our face or get out of the company of you think you are so capable" in front of the HR.

Good compensation and work life balance.

Dislikes

Focused on going public which is affecting employee interests ans wellbeing in terms of cost cutting ans layoffs. Some Mid Level managers micro manage unwanted stuff instead of focusing on actual stuff.

The work pressure here is relatively high. But that's why you are paid high. It's not something I dislike but it can be better.
