...ch competition at workplace. Great for average work with a lot of work security. Salary credited on time, unlike most independent agencies. Good place to retire.

Dislikes

Works more like a government back-office than an ad agency. Legacy clients that are whimsical and the agency seeks financial security from them. "Depressing office space" is an understatement. Mostly broken furniture and prehistoric equipment. A lot of nonsensical, painstaking work that adds to the profit margin, but not to your portfolio. Archaic HR policies that are not relevant to any modern workplace (let alone an advertising agency). Strongly resists any form of change because it conflicts the belief of the founders. Leaders of most verticals are dejects from the industry.

The company used to be a good one several years ago, with scope for great work and growth. Compensation was average, and appraisals existed. The team was a fun one, and some excellent work saw the light of day.

Over the past three years, appraisals have been non-existent; payments to employees and vendors have been late. Since word spread of the branch's condition (in the past year, the employee turnover has been twelve people), the company has been forced to take on board applicants who were at best second string, leading to a further decline in the environment and quality of work. Even the HR team which was constituted two years ago is ineffectual. They listen to issues faced by employees, but nothing ever comes of it. They did not even give me the courtesy of an exit interview, Sad...

For all the while I was at Triton, they never lost their culture - one of innovation and learning. Triton is never shy to experiment and that is a great place to be in advertising.
