...nths but i hardly got to log out 12-14 days around 7pm (the actual logout time). I never got into an argument with anyone for getting deducted my salary by 5-7k rupees every month, I knew if I was late then I will get the salary accordingly. But didn't understand the fact of working 11hrs every day for 5 months with that much deduction in salary. It wasn't a 10am - 7pm job like they tell you at initial. it's 10am- 9pm job. an 11hr shift and no paid Overtime. I was swamped with work and had so much pressure on me while being targeted, it affected on my health and lost the work life balance. my face was literally swollen and started getting migraines, it didn’t stop there because i was not allowed to take rest as per my office, had some kind of invisible pain in my head due to which my doctor suggested me to get Brain's CT Scan done. Even whole office noticed it including the ASM but never said to take a day off and rest. PART 3 - When Personal Grudges Affect Professionalism - Most of the time ASM had to stay put because of last moment changes in Graphics, so he would keep every guy calling till 9pm whether they finished their work or not. Friendly advice - If you are joining this company, especially the presales team make sure you bring Breakfast to ASM otherwise he'd ask you to work till 9pm. Because that's what happened once with my colleague. My boss and the Former HR had a nice companionship and HR thought telling ASM everyone's Salary is his Duty and that will make their bond stronger. Since that day things got worst and his attitude went to the next level. i) Fear at Work: Addressing Life and Job Threàts from a Boss- We were working for 11hrs every day and office didn’t have a normal ceiling fan, they had 2 huge air conditioners which was not working properly. one day my Former HR comes in and turned off the AC, I humbly asked him with a smile, "Sir, what are you doing?" I had a smile on face, my tone was low and normal. And that HR replied to me with his intense and disgusting look "Kaam kar apna". I did not want to argue with him so I requested him to turn it on as it was suffocating. But this time he starting shouting at me and kept repeating himself "Apna kaam kar", "apna kaam kar, mujhse argue mat kar, mere muh mat lag" and also he said something life threatening which i rather not write here. After some time, he came back and called admin in front of me, stated on call "Are jaldi aa, AC thik kar warna ye ladka ventilator par chala jayega idhr", he looked at me and said "because of you guys we have to pay more electricity bill as you work till 9pm" like it was our choice. had one more incident where my ASM said to me "Ruk, Tera abhi job kha jata hu". PART 4 - The Toxìc Culture of Slút-Shaming in Professional Environment - I want you people to know that I've always been respectful to all the women around me whether in my personal life or at work place. I had work for an international also domestic industries before but it was my first time where I felt women's objectificatioñ is being practiced very casually. Incident 1 - I had this wonderful person / female colleague working along with us, I had huge respect for that colleague as she was great at her work, punctual and kind. Due to unavailability of seat at backside of the bay, my boss asked me to sit beside that female colleague, after sometime I got a call on my landline from my boss saying "aaj tumhara mann nahi lag raha hoga na kaam mein", I didn’t get the context but replied him that nothing like that and am doing my work. he called again and said this time that "do you know from where you sat, you'll get to see the MONTVIEW/Mountview clearly". and just out of curiosity i saw outside the window twice didn’t see. well, this is for those who doesn't know that Montview is one the project of this company which is located nearby to that office. he called again and again for the said same thing, i told him i don't see anything. he started laughing and so i looked back then he rolled his eyes onto her. just because she was blessed with b®east, they named her "Mountview". I told him on landline right away that not to call me for this sh!t again. Incident 2 - We were working late as usual, it was around 8.30pm, one of my female colleague asked our ASM permission to leave for the day, and even former HR was there eating biscuits, ASM asked her why she wants leave early although the log out timing was 7pm, she said that she would go to her house and helps her family in his tailoring business, ASM asked what they sew, on which that SMART HR replied "yahapar jo fatt jati hai, wo ghar par jake silati hai". ASM and HR both laughed, I was shocked by his statement. He was a goddam HR of an organisation. How come he say such nuisance, was he really qualified for that job? Did he ever attend any POSHs workshop? At that moment I realised that This company didn't conduct any POSHs workshop at the time of training. PART 5 - now I'll jump to why I left this Job, among the above reasons. I had completed 5 and half months, it was an Independence Day, and our Team lead was changed by the time, our new team lead took all the authority in his hand about letting the people go if they done their work after log out time. because when ASM was in charge of our leave for the day he'd always go the washroom and would not come before at least 25 mins. women’s safety was highlighted at that time all over because few ®ape cases came in news. even some of my female colleague’s parents called our Head office and asked to let their daughter leave around 7pm. So, on the Independence Day our incoming sell phone wasn't working properly, we couldn't hear client properly whenever the call hits, Team lead let almost everyone leave around 8.15pm as it was public holiday and on public holidays our shift supposed to end by 6.30pm. there were only 3 people working in office. And our Head of Marketing person as in my Boss's Boss called on our Incoming sell phone so our TL went outside and answer the call and i went to the washroom. I came back from there and saw TL talking to Head of Marketing (HOM), phone was on speaker as it wasn’t working properly the whole day. so, I was eavesdropping their conversation and TL was not aware of it. HOM asked TL why he gave permission to leave (a female subordinate of mine) too soon? I did not get it, she left around 8.15pm while our shift was till 6.30pm. TL told him that her work was done and her brother came to the office to take her home. on which HOM said he shouldn't let anyone go even around 8.30pm. he specifically said that when ASM was in charge of this at that time everyone was working till 9pm, now what happened. Trust me when I joined this company I admired our HOM, had so much of respect for him and wanted to learn so much from him, he always gave that happy vibe. but then I saw what he does behind that smile. Lost all the respect. It was him who wanted us to work our @ss off not the ASM. ASM was just a pawn. Next day i decided to take a day off and think whether I shall continue working in such place or not. very next day that female colleague of mine called me on my phone around 9.50 pm, i answered and ask her what happened, she said "nothing, she was on her way to home and was alone in bus so she called me. I was talking to her on call until she reaches her home. and got my answer by this incident that I shall not work for such company who doesn’t give a sh!t about anyone's safety. that’s all for today. next time I’ll be talking about discrimination. stay tuned.

I hired in this company as quality analyst, however i did not got the chance to play the role for wch i hired, i have been told to memorise things like how many floors building they have how many flats, 1 flat area in sq feet & mtr, view how much is the main door size, how much is bathroom & bedroom door size, wht are the nearest hospital, school, food corner, etc, within a week which is not possible because they have completed many projects some of them are on working and some is future. I have shared my ideas that i will refer documents to audit calls for some day later it will be memories however my reporting “Harpreet singh” was not ok with my idea so i quite the job
