New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

... Long working hours. 3. No social security like gratuity and provident fund. 4. Low salary. 5. Toxic work culture. 6. They tend to fire teachers on whims and fancies. You will hardly find ten teachers who have working there for five years.

Being around little children made me happy. That was the only part i liked working there.

Dislikes

The HR policy is worst. Ni proper leave policy. It’s always a leave without pay system. It’s very stressful when they ask you to work overtime at multiple situation and fun fact is you will not be paid for the overtime.

There is absolutely nothing that I can think of.

...e balance. 5. Toxic work culture due to unhealthy competition and politics. 6. Ambiguous salary structure. 7. Management is apathetic towards employees. 8. Very very high attrition rate because the work environment is venomous.

No job security, they will tell you to leave the Job anytime without reason, you can see many people leaving the job, and many will leave the job because of politics, no leaves and favouritism,too much partiality, after joining you will just repent every day to go for work etc etc
