New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

If I talk about the taste of pizza, then only the taste of pizza is good.

No one has to work here and everyone here is senior in their own right and the biggest thing is that there is absolutely no job security here.

Lots of new things to learn , people like Area Manager Tiwari sir is greatest Area Manager they have 'period', very supportive brother like attitude, so blessed to have him

Dislikes

Culture is 0, I remember a time when one of their top manager came up and told to not call the other top manager by name ! Use sir !! Hostile owners , they are literally 'illiterate' and ill behaved they(the top 2 owner) are very very rude , unprofessional and exploitive. Job timings are really unprofessional and even illegal: 1) 10:30 hrs of shift for all gurgaon restaurants accept bani it's 10hrs shift 2) Cluster manager 9:30 hrs , and all other corporates 9 hrs and head accountant 8 hrs
