1. The Pune leadership is the most unskilled and talentless bunch of engineering managers I have ever seen. They have entirely abandoned their technical role and reduced it to asking developers for status, pressurising the team to work more and setting ever increasing the number of meetings to justify their existence 2. Company expects developers to take multiple roles(frontend, backend, database, production issues, test, pipelines, infrastructure management). People who were hired for specific role are asked to be full stack engineers 3. Downsizing. Company removed roles they deemed unnecessary, like QA, UI/UX and process engineers 4. Cost cutting is insane. If a developer quits, there is no replacement and team is expected to take the extra work load. At max they will hire interns for 6 months which doesn't help the team 5. Managers take promotion for themselves and keep unreasonable target for engineers 6. As an engineer you are not supposed to be creative and solve a problem or task your way. You are supposed to blindly agree to whatever the manager tells you to do. They have a fancy term for it called "disagree and commit". It just means follow orders like a robot

Work life balance is good

Dislikes

- compensation are not competitive - performance bonus payout is terrible - hikes are miserable - people put less effort and gain 8-9% which is 10-11% for one who is giving life to that project - lots of re-shuffling is creating learning hindrances

Dislikes

Compensation is not good and growth is very much slow. Work Pressure is high but this company do not recognize the talents of their people and never appreciate it.Innovation is not a part as well. getting a promotion is so much hassle which is a pain and all the hard work goes down the drain during mid-yr appraisals.

Managers favor favorites. Hence growth is offered to them. The rest struggle. Extremely low pay compared to the market standards.
