Likes

It was starting of my career and I did learn a lot. Good team to work as it is a hotel field, work load and accuracy in job had to be maintained. Lot of departments you get to mingle and work with. Overall starting a good career, I would suggest you can enjoy working here.

Dislikes

As it is a hotel the timing of working on shifts was really tough.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
