Time taking for any decision from corporate office. Some of the guidelines are meant for plant based and not uniformity in all SAIL plants it is great draw back.

Team was excellent. Bondage and cohesion in departmental team was very good specially the earlier years i.e eighties and Nineties.Training imparted was definitely above standard. Job fully secured till you are accused of theft and flouted company's laid down policy guidelines. Career growth was very good if one is sincere to jobs and a bit street smart. Ample scope was there to maintain a fine balance between family and work life. Work environment was good if you work in a team. Work culture was very good unlike the West Bengal state culture where there was a lot of laidback attitude and having a workforce with a nature of complacency and sort of negativity.

I did not find any issue that gives dissatisfaction and grudge. Sometimes work appraisal had generated a little discontent and dissatisfaction but that was taken care of justly and appropriately.

SAIL Maharashtra Company. Good job but there are so many lacunae e.g Rules have not been followed unanimously plant wise, succession plan is lacking, Top MGT. of SAIL did not obey the agreements as mentioned i.e all clauses whether it is bipartite or tripartite even though it is signed by two parties or three parties respectively. Difference between non-executives and executives in all the matters relating to wages, work life balence, and other benefits.
