In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. Don't ever work in this hotel !! I don't want to be racist but this is the reality, in food & beverage department mostly Indian people ! They use their own language in workplace, the management is really bad ! They even can't manage a team, always overtime and split shift. Some employees got injury during work, this is terrible workplace for entry level staff ! Good for the managerial level. The working culture really really bad.. the employee doesn't want to speak to HR about terrible working culture because they don't want lose the job !! But this is over. Don't ever work in this Hotel ! The Chedi Muscat Hotel
