The environment and nature of work you are in. There is only peak and peak comming for you in your career if you are here. There is daily challenge s and skill learning opportunities.

Dislikes

The people who work here has become lazy as they have fixed pay and as work is slow, which feels like never ending. Also Tehri is a dull place like a village where sun sets early and rise early.

Likes

Overall organization is good but due to local management culture issues nobody can survive more specialy contractual person like me.

Dislikes

The work culture and wok life balance is bad especially for Contractual staff. The works are minnial and you have to waste your time on a lot of useless/unproductive stuff. People have no sense of work life balance. We work on most weekends and get calls at all the odd hours for office work.

Likes

The only good thing is in the core engineering departments. Some people are technically sound and helpful.

Dislikes

Company cultural and discrimination towards Contractual employees. No professional ethics in Human Resource management department full of arrogance and not helpful. Can't even do task in one go. Only give preference to recommended candidates in interview during selection process.

It is a small organization with limited workforce. So it is easier to be recognized for your hard work.

This is my first government contractual job before i have done my job on private sector when i came here an join the team i feel very happy to be a part of THDCIL because of seen working culture and team effort of all departments.

Dislikes

Only one things i dislike there is communication gaphs between department.
