It Provides the Flexibility to work from your own space and in your own pace is the only positive thing about this company.
... in reality, employees actually do not get those leaves.
Unfulfilled Promises:
The company lures potential employees with the prospect of becoming full-time staff and receiving a salary increase after a certain period. However, this promise often goes unfulfilled. Employees are told that their salaries will be increased, but this promise remains empty, leaving employees feeling exploited and deceived.
Termination After Exploitation:
After the company has gained the maximum benefit from the employees, they are terminated without proper compensation, particularly for those who are let go in the middle of the month.
The company follows a pattern of taking advantage of employees' skills for a limited period and then letting them go without consideration for their contributions.
Abusive Behavior from MD (Mr. Rahul Chawla):
The managing director of the organization, Mr. Rahul Chawla, engages in abusive behavior towards employees. These abuses often target employees' nationalities, personal relationships (such as mother and sister), and overall character, causing severe emotional distress.
Unnecessary Pressure:
Mr. Rahul Chawla constantly exerts excessive pressure on employees.
This pressure takes the form of threats of termination if employees fail to meet certain performance expectations. The environment of undue stress leads many employees to ultimately resign from their positions.
Exploitative Employment:
The organization appears to have a business model based on exploiting employees for short-term gains. Once the initial benefit has been extracted from an employee, they are replaced with new hires who are likely offered lower salaries.
In summary, the organization creates a toxic work environment through dishonesty, unfulfilled promises, abusive behavior from the managing director, and a pattern of exploitation. Employees are subjected to unnecessary pressure, leading to resignations, while the company seems to prioritize short-term gains over long-term employee satisfaction and well-being.
I recently had the experience of working with Technowand, under the leadership of CEOs Rahul Chawla and Roma Chawla, and I must express my concerns regarding their organizational practices. Initially, I was hired for a developer role that was previously handled by a single employee. Instead, the company decided to hire two new developers, including myself and a junior staff member.
Unfortunately, the role primarily involved maintaining already-built websites, with minimal development work required. After only two weeks of employment and without adequate training, I was informed that my services were no longer needed. The termination process was handled unprofessionally: I was told not to come in the next day, and the CEO instructed the HR department to inform me only after the workday had ended. This lack of direct communication and professionalism seems to be a recurring issue within the company.
Moreover, there are significant issues with the company's administration and employee welfare. There is no provision for Provident Fund (PF) or medical insurance, and despite assurances that the company is in the process of registration, it remains unregistered even after a year. This lack of formalization raises concerns about the company’s legitimacy and adherence to legal standards.
Based on my experience, it appears that Technowand may not be well-structured and might not prioritize employee well-being. Additionally, it seems that the company does not care much about reviews or feedback, possibly due to their client base being primarily in Australia. Prospective employees should exercise caution and consider these factors before joining.
I encountered several challenges that significantly impacted my overall experience. The team management was consistently poor, marked by an unfortunate culture of micro-management and pervasive office politics. The working environment often felt like a source of frequent torment, with no tangible perks, promotions, or job security to alleviate the strain.
Moreover, the absence of proper documentation for projects made work management a daunting task. The company's hire and fire policy added to the instability, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty. Surprisingly, the lack of provision for company systems meant employees had to use their own systems for work, further adding to the burdensome conditions. This combination of factors made my tenure with the company a frustrating and unrewarding experience.
The partiality among employees demonstrated by my coordinator, Tanmay Tiwari, significantly added to the unfavorable work environment. His consistently rude behavior, particularly in response to minor mistakes, created an atmosphere of fear and discomfort. It became apparent that once targeted, individuals faced ongoing scrutiny and unnecessary challenges, even when performing well. Mr. Tanmay Tiwari's approach of changing rules arbitrarily and subsequently reprimanding employees for adapting to these alterations only heightened the stress and made the workplace increasingly challenging to navigate. This consistent pattern of behavior not only undermined morale but also hindered the overall professional development and productivity of the team. It is essential for the company to address such issues promptly to foster a fair and constructive working environment.
Toxic work culture, no job security, employees are treated very badly, employees were abused on call from the managing director Rahul Chawla. fires the employee once the employee serves his internship period.
