... engineering company of the world. A matter of shame for prestigious Tata group. But if someone wants to prepare for competitive exams, its best company in the market because you will get salary and you can easily study in the office, there is no one to ask even, its like worst than government organization.

Senior Management is the worst of all the people, they just want to fill their pockets and cut as much salary for the working engineers. Tata is known for ethics but TCE is biggest exception in this. HR is pathetic in this company, only sending useless emails, never will help you whenever required. Salaries and appraisals are only dreams. Appraisals will happen once in 3 years that too like giving pennies to a beggar. Work life balance is horrible, You don't know and you will posted anywhere in the world with very short notice, and if you deny any posting then your appraisals will be zero. TCE is not an engineering consultancy any more , its manpower consulting. Wherever is the requirement, you will be thrown whether you have required skills or not.

... and get screwed everytime if u are not in his good book. Admin team even worse. They don't fill tissues in the washroom in the name of cost cutting. HR arrogance at its best. Neither HR personnel nor HR policies are not at all employee friendly. Office is like a jail in kolkata. You can't talk freely act freely. I became a victim of office politics recently and due to which I have to resign... Some senior level employees that have no skills but only have experience of sitting in the same company for more than a decade play these kind of politics to save their position. The top management doesn't value a resource and uses unprofessional language in the office floor. If you have independent working mindset probably you will not sustain. Travel policies are very poor. You will end up spending more money in pocket. Be ready to be snatched from one project and allocated to other projects in the next day. Don't join this company if you have past experience in working with MNC and you desire for MNC level working culture. Working culture and company policy is a typical nd orthodox. Don't join if you desire for a good professional goal. Join if kolkata is only your prime desired location other than any other priorities in life. Other than this there is no good reason to join here

Very ethical company.good big size and prestigious project being delivered by TCE .. Supporting management but our services based on client satisfaction only.

... skill set and experience its aa oer job requirements as per client requirement. Salary and increment is average. Not good for young engineers who want to start professional journey joib after gaining experience from EPC Major company.

Dislikes

Growth and Salary are not good part this company. Highly bureaucratic in nature and higher Management doesn’t care about juniors. HR dept and delivery team is hopeless. Client resolution is also not good.

Not good for TCE consultant ..best for permits employees, Guest is very good if there are permanent employee.. other wise no good services for consultant

Not good consultant employee..no hike or appraisal even if you are 4yrs old employee, treat like external employee, senior consultant have to report traine...
