Salary increment very low as compared to peer companies Infrstructure is old fashioned.Way behind todays corporate infra. Office hours of 9.30 hrs is sometimes too hectic even considering saturday as holiday. WFH only for name.You cant take it as per your requirement need a strong reason for taking it.

This list will be preety long. 1. Culture 2. Pay structure 3.Managment Orientation. 4. Lack of outlook. 5.No work satisfaction Moreover only join when you don't have any resources to feed your family,don't waste your time in such a organisation whose management are not agile but they are claiming in paper,if you like to use your engineering in establishing of park, toilet, and small scale shades then this place is for you.

The best thing working in the company is about work life balance and job security.

Dislikes

One cannot expect any promotion, learning or salary hike. Bonus is also not consistent . Salary of union staffs and top management employees are very high in comparison with mid level management and entry level officers. On the other hand there is no scope of promotion and salary hikes. The process of promotion is not transparent.

Company is a subsidiary of TATA Steel. I'll write only about structure engineering as I got job as structure engineer, one will learn every kind of structure but work will be mainly focused on maintenance jobs.from boundary wall and toilet to multistorey buildings, company builds everything.

Dislikes

Low salary and work-life balance. No place for your point of view. "Boss is alway right." Please don't join if you are expecting yourself as a specialized structure engineer.

Likes

Name in it self describes everything TATA Steel UISL but being a fully subsidised of TATA Steel it's not as good as parent company. Job security is there but very less chances of growth and learning.

...C but you can get more than that depending upon your rating (can be baised too). Overall salary structure is not good. Good for candidates over 45 of age and come with a good handful amount of salary.
