Good for training and kickstarting your career, good for permanent govt job, flexible timings, good work environment and work culture, well maintained infrastructure facilities, subsidized food prices and free drinking water

Students are very stressed sometimes, work politics, low salary, some seniors can be very strict

Likes

Lot of opportunities to learn as there are conferences and seminars. The projects are very good. Lot of exposure to new technologies. It's a patient oriented lab where the patient's wellbeing is important. Reassays are done to confirm the results by various methods.

Dislikes

...ly on merit Or work reference basis but on caste bases and family references. So they make you work on contract basis with low salary. And mostly the undeserved one's get the permanent job which is unfair.

We can manage work life with family life is the only benefit of working here

No job security, appraisal policy is pathetic, not even have maternity benefit before few years and no job guaranty after maternity leave, payscale of technical and administrative staff have no difference.

Working at ACTREC gives great experience in cancer research field in the country. working here gives good exposure to extramural as well as intramural studies. Workplace culture is friendly, supportive and purely research based. Good job culture, knowlege gained, time constraints, polite and helpful co workers, sound environment, good techniques learntwith proper guidance, overall good.

The flexibility of doing our work with supportive PI's. The liberty to plan and work. Due to lockdown we aren't allowed to travel and work. So not much help.

Dislikes

The PI's are supportive, however, the staff is not, very bais on unnatural grounds and have no security with respect to work credits.
