Politics and impatient management who will destroy your tourism career. I left company few years back for better prospect and while resigning GM got with dispute which he even abused me. I just couldn't perform that year due to GST and all. I was provided with only 1 account in which price match was concern. I requested for 1 more year in that department to prove myself as tourism tax system was completely changed. But they were firm on moving me to department where no one willing to work for 6 months and GM tried to use as a scape goat. On Feb 2020, I was getting offer letter from company based in Powai. When I haven't received, I followed up for same and manager informed that he spoke with company director looking after FIT Sales as well as ops and your feedback was pathetic. I tried contacting Tamarind HR for said matter and she blocked my number. Since lockdown followed I kept quite. Now again faced same situation last month on May 2022. I was getting good opportunity at Thane and Tamarind is their wholesaler. Even they told Tamarind has not given good feedback. I had never done any thing that will damage Tamarind market hold but still those people are after me. I served them for 6 years and have even sacrificed big opportunities for them in my career. I'm not only one victim but GM of FIT dept just do it to satisfy his personal ego. My career is at stake and doing odd jobs now.

I was kept on hold for 5 months without pay. No work no pay. I just joined them during COVID crisis. They took care of their current employees and didn’t care of the new ones who left the job to join them. Pathetic!

When pendamic had occurred the company took the decision well in advance before lock down could start by working from so that everyone could be be safe still. We managed to be together on zoom calls by playing games and discussing about the work so that we don't feel home sick and get the same feel which we used to have at workplace

There was nothing such that I would say that was not in favour with the with its just the situation was not good otherwise working with tamarind was fun

Management of the company. Main owner is awsome person and great towards employees. Its fun working with Tamarind Global as the work culture and job satisfaction is good.

Dislikes

Just on the basis of great performance management let go some people even if they are rude, ruthless towards others and not following the work process and does things in their own way.

Tamarind Global was great support for staff... In this pandemic situation they not even lay off the staff.. still everyone was there in payroll is good becz compare to other companies tamarind was wonderful support for evry employee
