If you've got no other options consider joining, as you will gain experience. You will get to work mostly with python which is a good head start.

Dislikes

Cheap quality laptop that can't even run vscode. Company PM can call any time even after 12 or even on weekends to finish a task. Product team takes tech team very lightly and treats them disrespectfully. Marking work days as 7 because of all weekends you're supposed to work.

Worst upper management including ixigo engineering manager. Behaves as they are the boss or a bully. When ixigo ka dalla don’t know the solution then he start explaining you the maths formulas. The associate director lacks technical knowledge and is inconsistent in his claims. He also has significant ego issues and once fired a project manager purely out of ego.

The culture of the company is the worst. The guy in charge of the products talks like a sales guy, you'll have to answer useless questions every day. It feels like you're talking to a pan-wala. These people are third-class people, they don't know how to talk to another human being. The product lead or whatever they call him is the worst guy and is only in the company because of his friend (who's the director), he has zero idea of what's going on. He will try to push all the responsibilities to people below him and will talk down to the developing team. The job is a dead-end job, with no progress. All in all, this is an IT company where they'll throw you out if something goes wrong, majorly because the guy in charge has zero idea and will push all the blame to the people below him in case of any crisis. To be honest, you don't want to work for a guy who works on the phone and will ask you nonsensical questions every day, and still, he'll end up having no idea what's going on. This is not nepotism but worse, since the guy to whom he reports to was his classmate once. Also, it is pretty difficult to change jobs once you're in, since you'll not learn anything here. Also, you'll not be able to take any leave even during medical emergencies because these people will ask for medical bills (even when it's a life-and-death scenario). Beware don't make the same mistake, don't join. Join only if you don't want stability since you'll be thrown out anyway once the elections are over. Here they'll even try to save Rs. 700 by not getting a subscription to important softwares which are essential nowadays for software development.
