...ig companies and I can say Synopsys has been supporting it's employees the best. Everywhere I see lots of lay offs, offer revokes and salary deduction but Synopsys has done nothing like this. Infact they have provided timely promotion to their employees too. Their teams have facilitated smooth wfh. None of the campus offers have been revoked or postponed which is almost happening everywhere and I come from Tier -1 college. Synopsys has great work life balance. They have excellent culture and policies to facilitate employees.

Dislikes

I dont see any cons yet. It is a very happy place to work at.

Most likely, don't have to work on weekend. Flexible working hours.

Dislikes

...side the niche EDA industry. Exceptional work is mostly rewarded with peanuts. Low compensation, poor appraisal. Compensation/growth talks/plans are completely avoided or at best rushed without any clarity. Managers/HR deploy crucial conversations skills and hypnotize you in a story. Poor benefits and perquisites. They boast of lot of things, but all are hollow inside.

Learning opportunities are there, depends on management and your manager the quality of work you'll be getting ..Sometimes work can be repetitive.

Dislikes

Salary and compensation is not at par with the industry standards .Benefits could have been so much better

Work life balance is very bad there, Pay wise also its at bottom in semiconductor industry, diploma holders are sitting at top of pyramid and don't know how to manage people. Company need more Mbas and btech guys to better manage work and improve work-life. Overall consider this firm at last if you have 2,3 offers at hand. Peace.

...arification and Innovative ideas, thoughts are encouraged by team lead/managers. Comfortable training, Good salary packages they provide. Mainly the employees didn't feel pressure or stress regarding work.

Dislikes

There is no dislikes but the small thing sometimes the contractors doesn't have the job security. I mean less period like 6 months they took people as contractor, not regularly very rare cases it happen. Unfortunately it happens to me.
