Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... company. This is popular in the Water supply, irrigation and Drainage sector. Salary is on time, sharply at 10th of each month. Bike rent with fuel allowance is getting on 15-20 date of the month with mess.

Dislikes

No time limit for work. No Sunday for holiday. Increment is depend upon your hard work. Internal politics matters on your work.
