...ing to like about this place of work. There was very no support during Covid19. They asked all the Associates who joined 6 months prior to lockdown to take a long break without pay. They just informed that they would call if situation clears up and to look for alternate jobs if necessary. It was very unprofessional the way they handled the situation. Out of blue they asked all of us to go out and completely abandoned us.

Dislikes

...k life balance. The teams are divided and there is always gossips in the office. The pay is poor compared to the amount of hours you put in to work each day. There is no job security and growth.

...y employee irrespective of the designation will be chucked at any point of time. Salary paid is not upto the Industry Standard, appraisal is not upto the mark. Office atmosphere is charged with internal politics, each employee will have to pledge allegiance to the founding partners family and each employee will be under direct scrutiny of the Management and in each department one team mate will be the nominee of the management who will keep tab on activities on each team member and pass on reports. Work environment is not decentralized, entire control is in the hands of Head of dept, so designation and qualification doesn't matter. Work life balance is not upto the mark, the employee is expected to report to work atleast 295 days per Annum.

Dislikes

Office Culture, Management Attitude, HR Policies etc. Employees are treated very badly and especially people from lower down designation are unfairly treated. Least recommended organization.

Scope to learn as they have many cases beginning from small cause courts to appeal cases in the high court, being a 50+ year old firm

Dislikes

No work-life balance and difference in payment with people of their own community being paid more for lesser work

In Surana & Surana, from the top most Managing Director of the company to even a little pieon, all of them treat the outside people with humanism and good respect.

Dislikes

Though I have enough educational qualification, enough experience and good talents, I could not get an opportunity to work there due to that I had not studied in national law schools or top ten colleges.

Likes

The organisation is family owned and it’s one of the most pathetic & terrible place to work. Poor standard of treatment of employees, biased behaviour, unfair treatment and exploitation to the maximum. Being a law firm, they have absolute disregard for labour laws and all legal provisions of labour laws are tweaked to exploit employees.

Dislikes

Centralised structure of management makes it difficult for other employees to learn and grow. Long working hours six days a week makes the employees exhausted. Employees are not given leave benefits like sick/casual/earned leave instead one day per month on prior approval basis is given. Employees are forced to report to Work for atleast 290 days in a year. They are under constant scrutiny of the management all the time, cameras all over place and supervisors makes it difficult to talk and move around freely.
