I like that no matter what your salary gets credited on the last day of every month. I like the fact that even during the Covid, there were not major layoffs. I like that the company gives 2 Saturdays off in a month, so you don't have to work 6 days every week.

I don't like that most of the responsibilities are on the shoulders of Cashiers of the branch, every day he has to reach office at 9:30am sharp and open the office (while the field staff can come late at 10:30am) and have to sit in the evening till 7 or 8 sometimes till everybody leaves because he is the one who has to close the office. Cashier's duties are not limited but can extend upon the work given to him. He has to make arrangements to fix any issues that the branch faces, right from IT related issues to electrical failures from handling sweepers etc. The company is very conservative, you'll have to provide proof for every penny spent from company's account. Moreover, company's polices of making payment to vendors/suppliers is pathetic, supplier will have to provide lots of documents so that their code is created in the company, most of the small vendors will not provide so many details. Even after opening the code company will cut the TDS and make the payment to the vendor. I'm not even mentioning other tasks a cashier has to perform because the list is too long, and most of the tasks I take it as my duty even though it does not come under my job profile.

The thing which I liked is lost, the USP of Sundaram is gone, no value for talent, only favourism works here. The atmosphere has worsened in the last 4 years and is going to be worse in the coming days too.
