In this covid 19 situation the way sun life had ensured that there was no cut in our salary and also, our organisation didn't stop the internal job posting for our career growth. And the how much the organisation focus on employees.

Dislikes

Due to this pandemic our work life balance is taken a toll as we have give more working hours to ensure we meet our work requirement. Though it is understandable as we are working from home. But, certain times i feel that a break is needed. Hoping soon our offices can be reopened as it will sort this problem for me.

their management is worst- only promoting their close ones despite of their low performance. they can fire you anytime if you dont agree with their decision. They tell employees to fill Best Place for work Survey in Infront of them so that this company get in top 100 companies list. dont trust what you see from outside.

...not good at every department 2. Extremely bias during quarterly appreciation 3. Competitive salary but still low compared to other product companies. 4. Most of the stuff is already developed by third party vendors currently we are working on supporting & doing enhancements. 5. Hrs & manager will pressure you to work from office atleast 2 days.

...but that company never impacted their employees despite supported in monetary, Didn’t reduced salary at all One of the finest company I have ever seen and lucky that I m part of it More than 7 years and it’s all Sun Life fault😊

Wish if company focus on more pay scale and annual appraisal Rather giving 7-9 make 10 as default upon that person performance Looking at the inflation and cost of living

...pen door policy you can have 1:1 with the directors and management frequently. Appraisals are mostly fair and eligible candidates can get upto 2-3 hikes and Salary corections within a financial year. Bonus are good and can easily go beyond 100% if you perform good enough. Only con is working shift and lots of calls from onshore counter parts and the timezone differences.

Dislikes

Little slow paced company because of its mammoth size. Working Shifts would go till 10 PM for IT team due to timezone mapping but there would be no micro management. Lots of vacancies for Technical architects and Engineering Managers and company is finding it hard to get them onboard.
