Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Colleagues are very friendly and happy to help minded people. Work-Life balance is good.

Dislikes

Employee have to talk directly to company management, No HR manager/department. Salary hike is moderate. Some of the company policies are uncommon.

All Team members are equally tallented and good to work and manage.

Dislikes

There is no proper recognition that is given to the team nor to the managers. Always stress levels are high and terriblily satisfing. Also, there is no perks!
