It's a place to learn on your own , keeping in view the business transactions company usually enters , however very few or none will be there to guide you and make you learn. The organisation is always in a dilemma whether it will get closed or merged. Those who idiolise typical government sector working with strict to timings ( especially leaving the office) will find their heaven. No recruitment is there after 2016. This company has seen the golden times when it was on top of trading companies and there was lot of scope to learn Trade laws, maritime laws, international trade and sea laws, airfreight laws and all the associated documentations. It could revive subject to what intention govt. has in mind. PRESENTLY RUNNING ON DIY concept.

Dislikes

People seek payments, compensation, retirement benefits without doing work. Complaints not heard. Work is not right of boss is not right.

Likes

...ion which lookafter skill and work environment & career growth of the employees. As far as salary is concerned, which is far better than others.

Dislikes

Presently, behavior of the management is not cooperative with retired employees by discontinue medical scheme since there's highly need of medical facility to retired employees.

Likes

The Company is a Sick Public Sector Undertaking and continuous making losses as there is no business except few commodities. The only thing good about this company is work and personal life balance.

Dislikes

Management is not worthy of anything not competent to manage company affairs and apart from they are not good mentor. Always looking to trouble staff by whatever means transfers etc are popular tools to make people uh comfortable.

Likes

Organization had certain National objectives to import n export on national level n to promote entrepreneurs and it achieved its objectives n have tremendous returns to the GOI.

Dislikes

Its attitude towards retired employees for providing them medical facilities n it's lackadaisical attitude to promote doestic trade n exports in a secured way.
