No salary appraisal on time.... Get 10%hike in 2.5 to 3 years. HR is totally duffer, recruits youngsters by making them fool. GM HR has no powers to take decisions. Worst policies. Every body in star make it their own pockets. Even Company CFO has no sense to run finance deptt. Every body enjoying their position in STAR by getting bribe directly indirectly. Salary hike no issue fir them. Finance related decision taken by MD itself. CFO has no involvement. List of dislikes is so long.

I have learn more with star paper mills and start a first purchase job from here. So star paper mills ltd is a big point to grow knowledge about every field like, purchase ,store,yard,despatch.

Star Paper Mills is a good organization in respect of Job security and work training.

Dislikes

Infrastructure and company's initiative towards employees welfare is not satisfactory. Appraisal and promotions process is very slow.

Support from the seniors and new experience with the machines and environment, food was awesome, accommodation was excellent

Dislikes

Delay in getting any information for any new joining, especially from the hr department, safety manual were not been taken seriously

The company is established in 1937 and all systems adopts very old version. The person are working as compromised way. Mostly persons are belonging local and in retainership. They have interest on least level. Overall company is in best profits and growing stage. May be change culture in future. Best wishes to the company.

Nathing dislike in company but holding money should be released to the employees which is hold as kra. Overall system is perfect. Policies of company should be updated.
