There are a pot of things but an important one would be that your line manager holds the key to your life and there is no way you can cross them and raise issues with them to any other person in organisation. Very linear and traditional hierarchy structure, for others do have a look at my rating parameters.

It's a good place to work, learn and grow. With initiatives like equal pay, D&I etc. The HR policies seem balanced. Management is considerate as well. People do not call during non work hours.

Dislikes

Working hours stretched with WFH. Retirals are high in % so in-hand salary comes less.

Standard Chartered Bank is a wonderful place to work, The culture and the environment are top notch and the people who work there are friendly and always willing to help. The last 19 years have been rewarding and challenging. I learned a lot and was supported by my management 100%.

Work place is good but some uper manager are not good they are following like Bajaj and nbfc culture..that is not good for SCB.
