The pay structure is good. You will get timely payment every month. And also the additional benefits are good.

Dislikes

Job security. Its contractual and every year on 31st of March your contract will get over. My experience is that their is lack of coordination among the management which impacts the overall project. And although they will say throughout the year that you are a part of the family , but at the end of the year the top management will stop responding and donnot even pick up the call. The management should focus more on quality rather than focusing on the quantity.

The best thing about working at Sri Aurobindo Society was that salary was always on time. I worked at Chandigarh office so we used to get travelling allowances also.

Dislikes

Different projects run at Chandigarh office which will help you to diversify your career but the manager there is biased. There is a lot of favoritism. He gives all the responsibilities and opportunities only to his favorite people and give useless work to the other employees so its all on your luck. There is no maternity/paternity leave. There is no separate office, 10-12 people sit in a small room without any basic amenities at SCERT 32C.

The travelling and meeting new people like government officials and teachers everyday train them and building their capacity are much most satisfactory that we are doing something for the society.

Dislikes

...he salary deductions and the less chances to be grow from one position to other. The travel policy and the salary hike these are all things very much to be improved in Sri Aurobindo society according to the current market.

...ierarchical communication is the least. 6-days working culture is also tiresome. Above all, they bargain while paying and pay lesser than the previous payment.
