Snowflake as a firm is an amazing place to work at. The firm recruits each and every employee only after having at least 4 rounds of interviews, hence the workforce (especially Engineering teams) are really talented. Snowflake provides a lot of facilities to its employees. The office infrastructure is cherry on the top.

Dislikes

...f any kind of support from the leadership (this is specific to Internal Audits). The HR during the recruitment process commits that you would get at least the mentioned amount of Bonus, but the leadership in a extremely biased way makes sure that certain people don't get the complete bonus that they deserve. Same is the case for appraisals. The leadership makes sure they get the promotions that they honestly don't deserve, and then give poor appraisals to the hardworking subordinates saying they don't have the budget. Moreover, there is no professionalism whatsoever in the way this leadership talks to their subordinates. They make us feel really bad about ourselves and make us question our skills. This is the reason no team member tends to work here for more than a year. Having said that, please note that this negative feedback is specific to the Internal Audits team and it does not apply to other teams. So I would highly recommend everyone to consider Snowflake as a career choice, unless it is for the Internal Audits team.
