...er law firms. Micro-management, they will not share offer letter before joining. Salary promised will be changed once you get offer letter. Not a good place to work

It is difficult to work with lawyers here.

Dislikes

The law firm utilizes the services of a third party for background check and verification. It is shocking that despite background verification by HR team of the law firm and a third party, they hire lawyers who have lied and forged their documents to cover up the gap in their professional career. They easily accepted a forged air ticket provided by a lawyer who they wanted to recruit very recently. In such a competitive market, where many qualified and experienced lawyers are looking and trying their best to work with law firms, some law firms are only inclined to recruit lawyers without actually looking into the merits.

Everything, Top management itself feels insecure by the way its operates.Boss tend to show that they have given great favour by employing you. No serious and exceptional work. All National law schools student leave this organisation within 6 months. What a waste of time and Energy.

The Infrastructure. Free time because of no work for most months in a year

Dislikes

- terrible delegation of work - no growth, no learning - only clerical work. From Joint Managing Partners to Associate- they only carry files around and all the partners are also ONLY engaged in clerical work. -Founding Partner is the only arguing counsel of the firm. They don't train you to be a litigator. -Zero court exposure. Court exposure is frowned upon. -Defunct HR. HR has no spine of its own and blindly follows the management. - Oppressive policies and behaviour towards employees. - No defined job profile. A lawyer is expected to be a CA as well as a Civil engineer. Billing department conveniently becomes the HR. HR is useless and doesnt do anything beyond forwarding mails drafted by the managements for notifying holidays and stuff. So, there is no clarity of job profile for anybody in this place. -Does not value their employees AT ALL. Which is why they have zero retention policy.
