It was my first company to work with and I have no words to express how amazing this family is. It has given me so much and a lifetime of memories which till date feels like a dream. Job satisfaction was my priority and SQ did it best. Amazing work culture and has discipline from which you can learn life lessons from. Team work is most celebrated and fair opportunities to all. The most thoughtful management of all the companies in the world. Blessed that I have been a part of such great organisation. Thankyou Singapore Airlines for everything. You changed my life.

Nothing really. The management keeps on thinking about new ideas and strategies to keep going the smooth flow of work. Even if there's something we want to suggest to the company, they are open to accept new ideas.

The efforts put in by Head office in Process improvement, transformation and investing in people training. They communicate well to all the staff about developments. They also try to measure employee satisfaction. But local office people have made a global brand very local and unprofessional

The HR function in India. They don't do anything which a multi national leading airlines HR should do e.g. Resourcing, Compensation review, Ratings, Employee motivation activities like fun activities and outings. Secondly seniors in my dept are all 10yrs+ tenured. And they take pride in that without any concrete contribution to the company growth. They are working with same style of working of 15 yrs back and don't want to learn new smart ways to do same or more job in less time. They resist change big time. They feel their job will go away if they adopt new methods. They neither come up with new ideas nor they appreciate juniors to come up with new thought process. If an idea is shared by juniors then they will demotivate him by saying false things about boss so juniors don't share idea with boss. They make a new joinee feel that they are just baby etc. Also union is a big issue here. Few monkeys are running union and try to place foot in the door against head office initiatives like transformation. They spread negative word among other employees that transformation will take away their job etc. The union has handful of people and they just try to push mngt to grant good increment and bonuses. They didn't want to do anything extra in their role to ensure that company grow faster when there is potential. In short either ther don't know current corporate environment in india or they just ignoring and living in their own imaginary world if SQ. They don't know there are end number of TALENTED people in market who have tried to get in to airline but due to bad luck they are not able to succeed. Otherwise the entire office can be replaced in 24hrs with immensely talented people if given chance. I just wish the head office does critical evaluation of local office to ensure that india office is at par with Singapore office
