...be kicked out pretty easily anytime without any prior notice or any explanation. Poor salary, bad work culture, dirty politics, back biting & bitching about others define this company. No work appreciation, no good increment, no employee recreation or benefits. Just through marketing strategy its surviving in the market. Poor Management, worthless HR department. They would recruit like herds of sheep to fulfill their sales target for a specified period of time & once its gets achieved they will be fired from their job without any valid reason at any moment. Maru Superiors are not helpful & will not appreciate your work, rather they will find different ways to humiliate & degrade you. The peons of the company has much more value than the employees, even the VP of a particular department has no respect and is being kicked out by the babu's decision within a day.

Dislikes

Everything in Shyam steel is about disliking. No on the job training, no guidance from seniors (they only know how to humiliate), no job security (have seen employees being kicked out without any prior notice or explanations within a short span). No new work challenges, noting new to learn, no motivation for employees, only pushes you for more sales by letting you becoming a tele caller. Reference candidates of VP/SENIOR DIRECTORS are paid much high salary although they have less/no knowledge about work. You"ll be wasting your precious life & time if you get into this company. A typical goody goody show off company from outside but in reality its simply WORTHLESS. HR are just mere spectators as they have no power, every decision is made by the Babu's of the company. The problems are turned to deaf ears with no solutions.

Working with Shyam steel has been a great journey so far. Their salary is on time and you get payslips on time. Yearly bonus and calendar holidays.

Well since I have been working for a US market I think we should get the US holidays

Good working atmosphere with well maintained culture. Good canteen & bus facility for the employees. Fair appraisal every year and the company policies are futuristic.

Dislikes

No career growth but salary is good. On job training is not given to the new joining. Lot of politics but the management does not care. Overall this is a good organization.

Moderate work pressure, proper and timely salary disbursement within 4th of every month.

Dislikes

Work culture is worst, hell for senior level, attrition rate is too high. MD uses slangs, abus s, does not know to respect his employees.
