New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. Dislikes

Middle-level people play politics and they won't make you grow. Encouragement for young blood is a question mark because of these people. Chairman wants a democratic kind of culture but the middle-level people created a bureaucratic type environment. Because of these people, many employees left the organization. The growth of the organization may suffer in the long term because of these policies.

teammates are excellent.training is good.job security is poor inspite of excellent performance .career growth is good.salary/appraisal is good.travel should be accompanied by other person because I often forget roads and a driver is needed to drive my car.There is politics at board level.learning is good.work environment is good..innovation is good..work-life balance is good.

Teammates are not matured .ONCE I WAS RETRENCHED FROM JOB INSPITE OF EXCELLENT APPRAISAL AND EXCELLENT FEEDBACK FROM STUDENTS,THEY DID NOT COOPERATE ME TO CONTINUE MY PROFESSOR JOB WHICH WAS A REGULAR AFTER DISCUSSION WITH BOARD AT JNTU,KAKINADA.
