No salary increases that recognize qualifications, no rewards for hardworking employees, lack of respect for staff, toxic workplace politics, and no clear designation policies. If you work hard, you end up facing more challenges.

Good benefits for employees point of view like salary, working hours & transportation facility.

Dislikes

No work life balance, salary increment not depends on your individual performances & top management change policies regularly even it doesn’t required & No job safety

The campus is breathtaking and that is the only positive attribute

The ABSENCE of a culture that should be rooted in promoting work ethic, professionalism and recognizing talent is jarring! Instead, Favoritism reigns supreme, systematically isolating talent and breaking them down until they eventually quit!

1) Research Infrastructure 2) Attractive stipend on par with IITs 3) Full-tution fee waivers

Dislikes

1) Not all professors have good mentoring abilities. 2) School of Engineering has less funded compared to Natural and Life sciences. 3) Food is horrible across the outlets in the university and has no action taken.

At my time of PhD, stipend was Rs 50000 and that was only good thing in snu but now university had reduce the stipend to 40k.

Dislikes

Chemical Engineering department is not good in snu. All Professors in the department are fighting with each other for silly things. Professors are not trained to guide the PhD Scholars. They can spoil anybodies life. Till now only one PhD is graduated from department and he is also struggling for getting good oppertunity aftet PhD (Professor are not helping him for getting post doc and recommendations) Till now 5 scholars have left the PhD inbetween and still professors are having same ego
